The 2nd Meeting of Cambodian Accreditation National Council (CANC)
The 2nd Meeting of Cambodian Accreditation National Council (CANC) was held under H.E. CHAM Prasidh, Senior Minister, Minister of Industry and Handicraft, Chairman of CANC on 02 February 2017 at PPWSA. This meeting was participated by representative of relevant Ministries and Institutions which are the members of CANC; DA officials are secretariat of CANC; in total of 38 people. This Meeting was also supported by Ministry of Industry and Handicraft (MIH) and PTB.

Mr. Chhrien Sengkong, Director and Mr. Hoy Sokpheap, Deputy Director, Department of Accreditation, Ministry of Industry & Handicraft, participated in APLAC peer evaluation team as the observer to evaluate compeatamce of Accrediitation Body of Standards Malaysia. This evaluation held from 22 to 27 July 2018 at Malaysia.
Mr. Chhrien Sengkong, Dotecror, Department of Accreditation (DA), Ministry of Industry & Handicraft, and 1 official participated in 2018 APLAC/PAC Joint annual meetings on 01st to 10 June 2018 at Kyoto, Japan.
His Excellency Kitti Settha Pandita. CHAM Prasidh, Senior Minister, Minister of Industry & Handicraft, presided over Wolrld Accreditation Day under the theme "Delivering a Safer World" om 24 May 2018 at Ministry of Industry & Handicraft. This event was held on 24-25 May 2018 at Ministry of Industry & Handicraft, Phnom Penh, Cambodia under cooperation between MIH and PTB, Germany.
